Because of my travelling arrangements, the host made sure I could have the room before the check-in time. The staff was so helpful, showing me how the fan & aircon etc worked. The guest house is close to the promenade for a nice walk the next morning. The room was very clean and neat, and the honesty fridge was a nice touch to get something to drink later that night. Breakfast was nice, and they accommodated me with my allergies to make it perfect for me. Thanks to the staff!

Good location with sea view and close to restaurants.
Great location, a very quiet area, within walking distance to the beach, friendly staff, ease of check-in, cosy room, simple but tasty breakfast, and a very clean room. Really enjoyed my stay.
The room was very spacious. The guest house was conveniently located in Umhlanga. Close enough to everything but not close enough to be disturbed by the noise of the city. My only recommendation would be the following: It was very hot when I was there and the fruit salad and yoghurt were at room temperature which made me nervous to eat as this can go off in heat. Another positive was that they have cold water that can be decanted at any time which was very useful in the heat.
Friendly welcome by Richard. Room 7 was sufficient for an overnight stay for a single person. The bathroom is adequate but not spacious. Internet is good. Would not recommend for longer stays.
The location in Umhlanga is close to shopping centres banks restaurants and the promenade. Beautiful pool overlooking the ocean adequately protected from the wind. Highly recommended.
We commend the staff for being helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the dynamics of the room, having a tub in the room was a different experience. We enjoyed the ocean view. The stairway around the pool is dangerous and awkward to walk around. The pool was not cleaned for the duration of our stay- I guess this is because it's winter, but the pictures online are deceiving. There was no signage outside the guesthouse apart from the unit number. The driveway is also very awkward.
